If you fill out one of our website forms (e.g. https://www.silkbowbookkeeping.com/contact/) a notification email is sent to the relevant team within our company. The information you submit will therefore be stored:

As our site uses SSL (https) the data you submit using the contact form will be encrypted once your press the “Submit” button, and access to the data in the backend of our websites is only accessible to our website admins and our website and its data is stored on servers hosted in the UK.

Once we have received an email via our website contact forms we will email or call you. Once the enquiry is dealt with, if there is no reason for us to keep the data (e.g. you don’t become a customer) we will securely delete the data.

We store current client details in our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.

Any notes or paper information we hold about you or provided by you are stored securely in locked filing cabinets.

Any emails you send us may, if relevant, be filed within our email system.

If you are an employee

All information provided by you for the purposes of being an employee (e.g. name, address, email address, phone numbers, tax and banking information, etc.) is collected for the purposes of fulfilling our obligations to you as your employer. We store this information, including your contract of employment securely online and access is limited to the company Directors and if appropriate your line manager.
